The Youth band consists of young people who enjoy playing brass band instruments. We play a variety of instruments and take part in the worship services at church. We practice once a week and enjoy our time together learning our instruments. Many of the young people take part in music schools in the summer months where they meet up with other Salvation Army musicians from all over the country. Most of the young people then progress to the senior band when old enough. We are also grateful for those in the senior band who spend valuable time, not only in a musical sense, by giving encouragement and guidance to the young people when needed.
If you are between the age of seven and eighteen and would be interested in learning more about the group, or would like to come along on a Thursday evening, please contact us.
